NMRHA WORKING WESTERN VERSATILITY CHAMPIONSHIP

This new program embraces the versatility of the Working Western Morgan Horse! The competition is held at the Morgan World show in Oklahoma City.

 There are four qualifying divisions:

Ranch Pleasure:

You may use one Ranch Pleasure score for the versatility championship. The score is not handicapped and will be taken at face value.

Western Trail:

You may use one Western Trail score for the versatility championship. The score is not handicapped and will be taken at face value.

Reining:

You may use one Reining score for the versatility championship. If using a freestyle score, the artistic composite scores are not included.

Western Dressage:

You may use one Western Dressage score from Level 1 or above. Classes below Level 1 do not qualify.

The score from a Level 3 or above class is not handicapped.

The score from a Level 2 class has a -5 handicap.

The score from a Level 1 class has a -10 handicap.

You may enter your highest score from any (or all) of these divisions.  Your top three of your entered score(s) are added together for a final Versatility score. That means your final Versatility score may reflect 1, 2, and/or 3 of the qualifying divisions! The more divisions, the higher your score will be. This year you can compete for Open, Non Pro and Youth awards!

Entries must be received by September 15 of the current year. You must declare which division you are entering: Open, Non Pro or Youth on the entry form.

All participants (owners and riders) must be NMRHA members. Members get one free entry. If you have multiple entries, there will be a $5 entry fee for each additional horse.

There will also be a jackpot available for Open and Non Pro entries for those who want to spice up the competition with a little $$$ on the line! Become a member at www.nmrha.com and join the fun!
