From reining to ranch, from cutting to trail—the American Morgan Horse has been a virtuoso of versatility since the founding of the breed over 200 years ago.

The purpose of the National Morgan Reining Horse Association is to educate the public and publicize the Morgan Horse as a versatile Working Western horse; encourage interest in training and showing Morgans in events such as Reining, Ranch Horse, Cutting, Working Cow Horse, Speed, and other types of scored and timed western working events, and to encourage the breeding and development of superior Morgan Working Western Horses.
